Accessibility

We want everyone to be able to browse Lights Out curtains, compare styles and find them at The Home Depot, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

Our goal

We aim for this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, the standard the U.S. Department of Justice points to in its guidance on web accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act.

What we do

• Every page is tested with automated accessibility checks at desktop and phone size, and with a keyboard only.
• Text meets WCAG contrast levels, every image has a text description, and every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Pages work when zoomed or on a narrow screen without scrolling sideways, and moving content respects the reduced-motion setting on your device.
• We fix problems we find, and re-test the site regularly.

Known limits

Our product links take you to homedepot.com, which is run by The Home Depot and has its own accessibility policy. If you need help with a purchase, The Home Depot's customer service can assist.
